We assist university undergraduate and postgraduate learners who are in need of capacity building in research, support in their research ventures , supervision, coaching and in some cases mentoring during the research project at beginners, intermediate and advanced stages. This is achieved in three day or two day workshop at arranged venues within a pre-determined schedule and dates. Inquire from the Isisele Research office for more information about bookings and payments.

      2. How do I reserve a booking for my planned attendance of one of the workshops?

On the website there is a booking form that is enabled to allow you to complete it online and send it through to our office. There also attachments required accompanying the form, this also is enabled online for your ease to send through copies of your qualifications and any other pertinent documentation for your consideration. You can also ask the administrator at our office telephonically for a hard copy of the booking/registration which you will have to fax back as advised. Alternatively you can download the form, complete and fax or scan back to our office.

      3. How will you know my specific research capacity needs for the workshop without having seen or heard me?

The booking/registration form is designed to elicit certain pre-screening information weneed to establish your exact needs. You will be required to cooperate by giving honest information about your current studies, your qualifications and specifically, your research support needs. Isisele Research qualified consultants will assist you in refining your needs so that assistance can be provided.

      4. How will I know that my booking/registration has been received and confirmed?

Once all the compulsory areas of your form have been completed and the required attachments received together with proof of payment for the workshop, you will receive a text message confirming your registration for the workshop you are interested in. Alternatively an email will be sent to those who have access to internet to confirm registration. You can also phone the Isisele Research office if neither of these response methods mentioned above have not applied to you. Our efficient office staff will verify your booking while you wait and confirm your registration if all your documents have been submitted together with payment as required.

      5. How do I pay for the workshops?

Once your complete booking/registration form has been received and verified by the Isisele Research office, you will be allocated a unique reference code to use when you make payment using the bank details that will be provided to you on confirmation of your provisional booking/registration. Your registration will only be finalized when you have made the required payment and have furnished the Isisele Research office with proof of payment. No booking/registration will be finalized without payment. You are further advised to keep your deposit slip or any other form of payment that serves as a proof of your deposit; this will help in case there is a problem with locating your payment on the Isisele Research bank statement. If/when you have a problem with paying for your booking/registration, give the Isisele Research office staff a call, they will assist you in every way possible with your challenge. Isisele Research is not responsible for the accommodation of participants at the workshop. Most of the workshop venues will have accommodation facilities where participants themselves can make personal arrangements for the period of the workshop.

      7. Can I contact the Isisele Research office after the workshop for any kind of assistance following the workshop
          attended?

Yes, our workshops are not a once-off, one-hit- wonder event with no follow up with our clients. We provide free telephonic advice on enquiries emanating from the workshop presentations. We however charge a fee for individual consultation that include mentoring and coaching. The details for this service can be obtained on request from our office. Our facilitators are on standby to assist participants.

      8. How do I communicate with the Isisele Research office if I have a telephone network problem?

You can write us an email, send us a fax or visit our office at the workshop venue closer to workshop time. If all these channels fail, you can as a last resort drop us a post on Facebook with your query and we will respond.

      9. Does Isisele Research offer certificates or diplomas at the end of the workshops?

No, Isisele Research provides a skill- based service that targets capacity building, thus our modules are not unit standard based and therefore we do not issue out qualifications to the effect of your attendance. We can however provide you with a proof of attendance as and when required. Our main objective is to enable you to conduct your research project independently and competently because you will have gained the much needed capacity (skill and knowledge) to do so from our practical and interactive workshops.

      10. Is it possible to attend more than one workshop?

Yes, it is very possible as most of our modules are categorised according the stage at which you are with your research project. You may be a postgraduate at an advanced level of your writing up but still need assistance with data interpretation and analysis- thus you might have to attend one of our intermediate or even beginner workshop and also the advanced workshop for those nearing completion of their research project. As a participant you will decide what to book/register for in terms of what is relevant and is a need at a given time in your research journey.

      11. Can I contact one of the facilitators post the workshop?

Yes, but you can only do that through the Isisele Research office and NOT directly to the facilitator. The office staff will convey your message to the relevant facilitator/consultant and your matter will be promptly attended to. NO PRIVATE ENGAGEMENTS WILL BE ENTERED INTO BETWEEN A PARTICIPANT AND A FACILITATOR WITHOUT THE INVOLVEMENT OF THE ISISELE RESEARCH OFFICE. THIS IS HIGHLY PROHIBITED.
